バウバックは、アルパカラフトのバウ側(船首)の４つのグラブループにロープで取り付けて使用するドライバックです。止水ジッパー開閉式なので、ロールダウン式のドライバックに比べ、内容物へのアクセスが簡単です。

カーゴフライカスタムのボートと特に相性がいいです。カーゴフライカスタムでバックパックを気室内に収納する場合に、日中に使用する、行動食・カメラ・日焼け止めなどの身の回り品を、すぐにアクセスできる場所に置いておくことができます。

取り付けに便利なSビナが4つ付属しておりますが、転覆する可能性のある流水で使用する際は、再乗艇の際にSビナとパドラーのPFDなどが絡まないように(エントラップメント防止)Sビナは使わないで、直接ボートのグラブループにストラップを通して固定するか、ロック機能のついたカラビナや短いロープ類などを使用して固定してください。

The Bow Bag is the perfect companion to hold your daily paddling essentials. All Bow Bags feature a heavy-duty waterproof TRU® Zip zipper and four straps with optional S-Biner® dual carabiners to attach the Bow Bag to the 4 bow grab loops on your packraft. The Bow Bag provides 24 liters of space for the basics like your inflation bag, repair kit, lunch, water bottle and sunscreen plus extra clothing, cameras, binoculars, and more.

Installation Method: The S-Biners allow you to remove and attach the bow bag to your boat frequently through the day but should only be used where the risk of capsizing is low considering your experience and the water you are paddling. For all whitewater and other paddling situations where you might capsize, you should install the bow bag by threading the webbing straps through the packraft's grab loops to reduce the risk of entanglement in a swim.
